Sölacè is a Shropshire (UK) based DJ specialising in progressive house, deep house and electronica.

Sölacè has had a lifelong obsession with dance music inspired originally by artists such as Leftfield, Way Out West, BT and Ortbital. A musician in bands in the West Midlands during the 1990s, Sölacè has an eclectic and broad musical heritage which provides the perfect backdrop for a sound routed in deep and emotive house.

Sölacè takes his influences from DJs such as Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha and Satoshi Tomiie all of whom take audiences on a journey with every set.
With a contemporary focus on artists and producers such as Bonobo, Marsh, Dusky, Eli & Fur, Bicep and Jody Wisternoff, Sölacè has recently provided guest mixes for Laidback & Lounging and Social Sound on CrateDigs.com.

‘I’m really excited to have recorded this exclusive set for the CrateDigs Mix series. I listen to many of the CrateDigs DJs across the week and wanted to bring a selection of tracks that hold the integrity of my sound and appeal to the CrateDigs audience who clearly love music as much as I do. I hope you feel that this sixty minute mix achieves that aim’.

Sölacè is looking forward to life beyond lockdown when music can once again return to bars and clubs in his home county of Shropshire. Until then you can hear Sölacè’s Progressive Sessions series on Mixcloud.

"Thanks again for inviting me to record this mix containing such beautiful progressive house, deep house and electronica. There is some really special tracks on here and I hope you enjoy listening just as much as I did piecing the mix together for the CrateDigs Mix series".
